The CDG has been established since 1962 when it instituted a drive-away system for new vehicles ex local (NZ) assembly plants. Up to this point in time, The CDG has progressively received road licenses such that today the CDG fleet now stands at 120 units - predominantly 6 and 8-car transporters.
The CDG has its network nationwide with depots/sub depots and storage facilities in Auckland, Waikato, Wellington, Picton, Nelson, and Christchurch.
